MUSICAL (1999)

Producer Judy Craymer’s vision of a stage musical based on ABBA’s songs became a reality when MAMMA MIA! premiered in London’s West End with a script by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd. To date over 60 million people around the world have seen it.

THE FILM (2008)

The film version of the musical starring Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Amanda Seyfried and Pierce Brosnan broke records at the box office and became the highest-grossing musical of all time. It was filmed on the idyllic island of Skopelos, which inspired the setting of Mamma Mia! The Party.
